Associate Osteopath

Vanessa offers osteopathy, reflex integration and post-natal recovery appointments. She is experienced with children with neuro-diversity, additional needs and disability. She is energized by the difference she sees osteopathy and integrating primitive reflexes can make to person’s nervous system, improving the quality of interactions with their environment and other people. Vanessa enjoys working with children with autism and using the medium of therapeutic touch to release tension and discomfort for those where communication can be challenging or non-verbal.

She also offers Post-partum recovery appointments which include  pelvic floor and or scar assessment. This extended appointment ( 90 mins) allows time for a thorough assessment of pelvic floor function and internal exam to address tears, tension or injury from the birth process as well as a holistic assessment of your posture to help you recover from pregnancy and birth. This is also suitable for caesarean section recovery. The earliest you can book this appointment is six weeks after delivery to allow time for tissue healing. There is no upper time limit. We recommend postnatal care as a package of three appointments for best results to support ongoing exercises and education and integration of the pelvic floor with your overall health as a parent.
